If you look at the dash temp gauge for a reading and then to the device on the OBD port for a reading to compare.....where are the 2 sensing points on the engine located ? Gracias
I got the rear heater core bypassed. New heater hoses on. I do not care for the quick connect system. My whole body is in pain this PM. I blew the coolant out of rear core with air. (most of it). I made up my own hoses . Used the Dorman wye which is for a later model, I was told. Made it work...
I just found a hose like that but on the left side of the trans...clipped to the crossmember that supports rear of trans. Looks to be same size and all.....Seems like a vent would be up high, but maybe not....I also have never noticed it before.
Wife has a '14 Escape. As mentioned above....just finding the battery was an adventure. Changing it is a real PIA. Had to print out a recipie to do it.
Ham radio ? I ran an antenna wire down thru the passenger side hood hinge..down to the rubber plug with the door wires. Thru with the door wires and into the interior. The door has room and does not close on the wire. This was for an antenna for my stock radio, which has the antenna in the rear...
Got the recall work done today. Really nice people and they did it fast while I looked at the new Tahoes, Yukons and Hummers....I was lucky to get away from that place quickly...ha ha ha
I'm going with hose and no fittings (if it will work) Hose into the heater connections and worm clamp tight. I checked on that metal VEE at Autozone and it was $29. Don't think I need it...ha ha Only reason for needing new heater hose is that mine is gonna be short once I remove the tees...
