I have given it some thought for sure, more brake light is better saying how many times I have been rear ended.... When I get it color matched I may buy some LED's and resistors and solder it all up etc.
We did it with a floor jack and block of wood without removing the exhaust on my old burb.
You have to tear up the heat shield on the one your wishing to remove and then work your way in with the new one. Its not terrible just awkward for sure.

Kinda sounds like lean surge, or timing a bit off some something else.
I know that if your too lean at cruise under load it will slightly buck and make some coughing out of the exhaust. Lean misfire, depending on your tune the pcm may not pick it up. Pull the plugs yet?

Yeah, Same here somewhat/... My Model A and Yukon share alot of parts for suppliers, my 56 Dodge is a oddball that shares nothing hardly at all with anything else. Parts are rare and hard to source... Its nice having stuff that is interchangable.
