Hi
Welcome to the forum from New Zealand.
Nice looking ride. Will have pretty good height with the lift you're looking at doing.
Great forum, you'll def find ideas and problem solving if you check out some of the guys threads.
Yep,that's what I was thinking too
I read somewhere that if it has not been used in 4x4 for an extended time the electric servos stop working. I'd look into that.
Hi and welcome to the forum from
New Zealand
You're on the right forum for ideas for your truck and there a lots of guys doing the same as you.
Have a look around and read a few of the guys build threads and you'll find what you're looking for.
Nice looking old beast!
Hi and welcome from New Zealand
My favorite color!
You can go wide and just match up some nice flares. That way it will only paint itself when Corning. :welcome:
Hey that's great!
Is good to find a deal like this and be able to enjoy it straight away ayyyy.
Lol too many choices with what to do in the way of mods on here. Be practical,do what needs doing 1st and then improve as you want :favorites37:
Nice work man
My brakes were doing the same when I bought the Yukon.Making that release of air noise n travelling down halfway. So much so that Tom failed it on a warrant of fitness claiming it was a failing brake master. So I got a new 1 from Rock, bled it up and is the same. Pulls up good when the discs have...
Thanks
Shes not to bad for an old girl hey! ;)
I like to keep her tidy, did a degrease after last operation and have started treating the plastics with some CRC 808 silicone spray.
Lol you can always find something to do when you start poking around them.
Hey,has been a while since I've done anything to the Yukon.
It goes so well I haven't had to do anything since replacing the shocks & adding the the lowered shackles in the rear.
So today I planned to wash her. Didn't get there. While it was level I decided to lift the bonnet and check fluids...
Yep I will p.m you in the very near future to get your address.Once I have set a salami to an age I hope will travel okay, some biersticks and a bit of jerky I've been working on I'll send it your way n see if it makes it to you.
Lol then if it does a few of the boys are keen to get some too!
Haha
And I was only 9 and couldn't see over the back of the deat or the wing mirror so he would be standing there yelling at me. Right Hand Down,Right Hand Down!
I SAID RIGHT HAND DOWN!@!
Classic.
It's funny you should ask mate.

Was what i learned to drive in. A
1967 HR Holden wagon. The old man wouldn't let me drive forward until I could back a trailer. Was a good lesson to learn, can back into any place sweet as.
:boxing:
Oh okay, here is my ride height as I bought it sitting on 16×10" M/T rims. 2nd picture with torsion wound down 1" in the front and 2" lowered shackles in the rear.
Hi
Welcome to the forum from N.Z
I have a 97 Yukon.
Look up my thread build.
Have done a passive 1" wind down in the front torsion and 2" rear shackle drop. Looking at your ride height looks like you may have a body lift as well,if so removing that will give you maybe a couple inches drop!
