    I've got two Viper 5901's, one in my Tahoe and one in my Camaro. It's without a doubt on of the best things I've added to the truck since I bought it two years ago. I'm going hook it up to the heated seats + defroster this weekend. :)

    We're only allowed to have amber turn signals in Sweden. But I can probably get a clear lens and put an amber bulb in it.

    It's actually a turn signal, not a side marker. But you're right, we need to have them in Europe (unfortunately). Ugly as hell if you ask me.... :(

    I pay over $200 for a tank in Sweden. The gas price is about $8.50/gallon here at the moment.

    Wheel speed sensor replacement

    It isn't that hard to clean them by your self. Remove the wheel, caliper and disc. Unscrew the senor and pull it out of the hub. Clean the surface that the sensor is mounted on and put everything back together. Make sure that you don't get any debris in the hub while the sensor is removed...

    I had the same problem with my truck about a year ago. I removed the sensor and cleaned the mounting surface. I haven't had a problem with it since then. Try cleaning it before buying a new one...

    Anyone installed a viper 5901 on a 2001 tahoe?

    I installed a 5901 in my -00 Tahoe a couple of months ago. This was my first alarm installation and it wasn't that hard, you just need to take your time. I got the XK06 module for the remote start.

    Strange noise. Any suggestions?

    I removed the front drive shaft today and had a look at the u-joints, the one near the t-case is bad. Hopefully I can get them heated up and replaced by tomorrow...

    Press the gas pedal all the way down to the floor three times within five seconds with engine off and the ignition on.
