I've owned a couple retired police Caprices and currently own a 2011 Caprice PPV (9C3). I think Tahoes get the same upgrades in heat management and suspension along with the gutting of amenities. Why do people convert TO a PPV?
Thanks for the reply. I am hot and cold on going the PPV route. The price I'm finding for PPVs aren't much lower than I can pic up an LS for. An LS wouldn't have as far to go on adding items to make is a "normal" Tahoe.- yargnits

I tried that... kinda. I tried using the truck frame while it was on stands. The jack was at a bit of an angle and I wasn't comfortable with how much the tire was getting deformed. Too bad there's not a Harbor Freight (aka reasonably priced) bead breaker. I'll try your method out if I need to...- yargnits

New TPMS Sensors?
As far as I can tell, my other 3 are original from '04. I expect the others to die soon. -

Since there's mixed info out there, I can confirm that on my 2004, the sensors linked above will be seen by the system during the learn process without anything else be done. In my case, the only hard part was breaking the bead to install the new one. -

Scotty, I’m pretty sure the master never went dry. I’m thinking this over. Would the bleeding be acting this way if it had?
