OEM Clone Headlight HID/Projector Retrofit Project [video update]

Congrats, the new truck you got there... it's beautiful! Are you going to do any retrofit on it? I always wanted to ask you but keep forgot about it. My H1 starting to shift color (not the Chevy, it's other car use for years) and it's time to replace it. Wonder if there is any difference...

HID retrofit w/ Bi-Xenon Projector on 06 Suburban

Quads MH1 on aftermarket OEM housing? You can't install the bulb without remove the bracket of the housing (bulb too long) because if you aim the low then the hi projector will be off, unless you want the hi as high beam only so no need to aim. I pumped into this issue when I do a quads retro...

    Projector Headlights

Or you can do Depo with FX-R projector which is much cheaper than TSX and somewhat easier to work with, although you don't need 55 watts since the FX-R already come with clear lenses and output is very wide.

HID retrofit w/ Bi-Xenon Projector on 06 Suburban

I'm waiting for a few more parts to work on my S2000 projector with Spyder housing and if able to finish them I'll will let you have current set with same price I pay for the parts (projector and housing). I'm really happy with the H1 & Spyder but after I saw S2000 retrofit drive by and I want...

HID retrofit w/ Bi-Xenon Projector on 06 Suburban

That is correct but it's a pain to put big projector like FX-R on and it require lots of trimming. But Spyder is very easy if using the H1 projector, it's like plug and play since you only need to remove the housing len.

HID retrofit w/ Bi-Xenon Projector on 06 Suburban

It's depend how you like the look. I have both Spyder and Depo but I start with Spyder first thinking Depo will be my backup. After I'm done with Spyder and work on Depo with FX-R then sold it for my friend so I think the Spyder is much easy to work with. And of course the FX-R projector is far...

    Projectors For 2003 Tahoe

He is right... I have both; the Depo is what I called a plug n play to put HID kits on. It's nice when you look at it but the output is not evenly spread out and of course hotspots...etc. For the cutoff you can do a quick fix with this step, its work great for me. You can have my Depo for...

HID retrofit w/ Bi-Xenon Projector on 06 Suburban

I'll try to snapshot when I have a chance. I make it like that for my references to see better, and when need it fog light will be on to fill that gap. It's took me a few tried to get that by cut out the housing and pulled back the projector a bit meaning I'm not fitting it thru the 9006 hole...
