2017 Air Dam trim or removal?
Well, it is a nuisance sometimes with the lack of clearance. Probably push snow in some areas too. -
GM Paint issues
I got in sort of a bind last winter on the road, Tahoe was covered in salt spray from wind off the ocean so I went to a local modern car wash. Got the premium deal. I was really shocked at how hard those brushes hit the hood and top. I figure if the car before me was coated with mud/sand/crud... -
What do you guys think of my front brake pads?

Sticky caliper ?
Those slide pins can sure rust up and cause several problems. Hard to get them out too, parts loosener, heat, lots of patience.- tom3

On a 2019 GMC Yukon xl denali 6.2 10 speed Transmission - Does it sound correct that GM recommends a Drain and Fill and not a "Flush"?
Doing my 6L trans. every 30k miles or so and I do drop the pan, new filter and 5+ quarts of fluid. I want to see what's in the bottom of the pan and clean the magnet.- tom3

Extended Warranty going up 4/7 30%
That's a chunk of change there too. I wonder if that's a result of the new tariffs since most replacement parts are imported.- tom3

6L80 Heat Related Symptoms
If I were in Texas I'd put an aux. cooler on the return line, and a good sized one. and do away with that thermo valve on the trans. On my 6l the highest temps I've seen are just above 180 in jams going (stopping) around Atlanta on a warm day.- tom3

TARRIFS
On our 2019 the window sticker shows US/Canadian parts content: 41%, Major sources of foreign parts content: Mexico 46%, Engine and transmission: United States. Assembly: Arlington Texas So I'd guess half the vehicle price is from imports that will be taxed giving a +or- 12% price increase...- tom3

BATTERY DRAIN
Hook a small bulb in series with the main battery cable (unhooked) and if it stays lit, start pulling fuses until it goes out. For the battery to drain that quick the little bulb should be lit I'd think.- tom3

Private Sell vs Dealership Trade-In
Dealer lots are full right now. Find what you want on a lot, do the research on your trade in and come up with a deal you're good with. We usually give the sales guy an out the door offer. If not real close, walk and go the private sale route. You'd be surprised how they will make numbers...- tom3

2020 with slight vibration at idle
Vibration at idle could be a slight imbalance of the torque converter or some flex plate runout. At that mileage the valves could be sludged up on the back sides and disturbing the air flow at the low speed.- tom3

Best place to buy extended warranty
Question for some of you who have bought the GMEPP. Does this warranty show up on your GM website account? We got the warranty from Laurel Chevrolet a couple years ago, got all the paperwork signed etc. but nothing shows up when I log into our My Chevrolet account.- tom3

Anyone else do this in the winter?
A lot of the new Tahoe/Yukons have shutters just behind the grill to cut the air flow. More for gas mileage than warm up but should help that too I'd think.
