I'm just back home. After coming back from work I had to tow a neighbor's Renault to the nearest Renault Dealer as it did not start. 47 old and it's the second time I use a tow bar. Was fun. The 'Hoe impressed the neighbor. I understand. XD- Tom Joad

Escalade Vs Denali Vs Tahoe Cluster
Yes '03 cluster are lit with incandescent bulbs that are soldered inside some blue plastic socket. There was a member here, few years ago, who did change for a living incandescent bulbs by LEDs. I did buy some removed bulbs from him back then. May be he is still around. -

I know. I've done this years ago and even created a thread about it here. The issue was I lost the Cruise Control and it is very useful to me so I'd rather have incandescent bulbs at the back AND CC rather than just LED bulbs. ^^- Tom Joad

I've swapped to LED because I wanted to drain less current from the battery. Adding resistor would cancel that gain. I'm currently browsing Amazon to find some stuff. Before I buy some aftermarket LED Taillight i need to test if I can melt together turn signal and reverse light within one bulb...- Tom Joad

This resistor will waste 50w in pure heat . That's a waste for me. -

No point of swapping to LED if I need to waste 50w of electricity each time I brake. I'll go back to incandescent brake bulbs.
