The chev looks like a ford front end with different badging. Also squished. The Gmc looks ugly ass all hell like the terrain. IMO GM dropped the ball on this one huge.- thumper_ehhhhh

Front frnder is toast. Rotten completly through. I am patching it up for now but will end up replacing the fender when i can afford one. Yes i live in southern ontario which is parallel to northern california. There are a few states farther north than I. Yes salt on the roads will have affected...- thumper_ehhhhh

This is why you should remove them and check in behind. Put them back on if you want but pull them off and check. This next picture is why i pulled the flares off. It was showing a rust bubble at the top edge. I then found the bottom corner was flaked off so i decided to check...- thumper_ehhhhh

Hey guys i know i dont have a suv anymore but still read this and never crossed my mind to check my spare. I dont think my 2003 sierra had its spare dropped. I was able to drop it and lube it up. The spare is rusty as heck. Spring project to clean it and paint. So all lubed up and air pressure...- thumper_ehhhhh

Maybe there are HOV lanes and one of the vechiles allowed are flex fuel and to keep from getting pulled over they keep the badge on it. I know up here green vechiles are allowed in our HOV lanes. Not sure if flex is concerdered one of them but maybe where you are they are allowed.- thumper_ehhhhh
