    I just removed the roof rack on my 2000 Yukon and put the same bolts back in with a little sealer on them. I would like to replace them with shorter stainless ones, Anyone know the size threads?

    Same here,non Bose. Old ones were 8 ohms,new are 4 ohms. There is a difference in sound. I think that the old speakers were so bad is why it sounds so much better.

    Just finished installing new rear door speakers in my Yukon. I took pix but I can't seem to post them.Sounds are getting better. Now going to wash off the last Nor'easter (I hope). Bring on spring!

    I have the same problem.I took off the panel and got #s on resistor and ordered on line. It should be here this week.Apparently a common problem.

    My Yukon is so dirty with the weather that we have had,I'd be embarrassed to post a picture right now.I hope it warms up so I can wash it soon.Lol
