    2000 Tahoe - Question about rear door locking

    It won't lock even if I hit the remote or hit the power locks from inside. If I stick the key in it won't do anything either and the lock "button" won't push in. I don't know if that answers your question Christoso. I haven't popped the panel off yet, so I might do that and see if it's the same...

    For some reason the rear door won't lock. I can't even push in the lock mechanism to pop the window. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be and, if so, how do I fix it (preferably myself)? Thanks, D.

    Need new lifts for rear door -2000 Tahoe

    I've got a 2000 Tahoe and I need new lifts (the two "hydraulic" arms) that hold the door up. Currently, I'm having to use a stick prop the rear door up. Anyone know where I can go to find replacements? I'm assuming it won't be hard to replace but I welcome any tips on that front too. Thanks, D

    Lifts for rear door

    I have a 2000 Tahoe. The (hydraulic?) lifts on the rear door have failed and the door won't stay up unless someone holds it up. It's just started doing this and I wondered if anyone could tell me what I might do to fix the lifts, if that's the name of the part, or where I could go to find...

    Forgive me for being ignorant on this stuff, but when you say check the surround on the speakers – what are you talking about specifically? Is it hard to get to the speakers? I'd like to do all this myself if I can. Just don't want to screw up the truck. Thanks for your help.
