I ran it with no running boards for over a year but my wife hated climbing in and out with the level and bigger tires. When she was pregnant I ended up adding some aftermarket aluminum steps. I have had them on for quite a while and they hold up much better than the factory plastic steps that...
Is there a way to attach the factory fender liners to this bumper? I’m assuming the fender liner mounting points in the bottom of the factory bumper are lost? Any photos of the wheel well/ fender liner attaching to this would be appreciated
I just used painters tape to make a straight line and then trimmed the factory valance with a dremmel. Pretty quick and easy. Then just sanded it smooth at the end
Tonight I installed the ARB CKMA12 air compressor in the extra battery tray under the hood of my 2019 Tahoe. The install was super easy and the compressor fits very nicely. It is hardwired directly to the battery and is connected to my auxbeam blue tooth switch board so the compressor can be...
I recently installed a bull bar with 20” light bar and was hesitant to install another single switch in my cab. I ended up decided to install the auxbeam 8 gang RGB switch panel. Now I won’t have to pass anymore wires through the firewall for future accessories, everything can be wired to switch...
I searched and didn’t see anyone else with this so just posting do anyone who may be curious.
I installed the rough country bull bar with 20” light bar. Super easy install. It did interfere with the two middle parking sensors but it was very easy to relocate them into the bull bar.

Looks they are actually sold out currently for the Tahoe. They only have the XL/suburban in stock. Hopefully the restock while they are still at this price. I will definitely pick some up if I can get them at this price. Thanks for the share
Very excited to see your photos and hear about the install process. That looks like a great alternative to more expensive automatic running boards. I might go ahead and order a set of these as well
Definitely gained at least an inch or so of clearance. The side frame does extend slightly lower than the painted body but the running boards extended well below the side frame.
I ended up chrome deleting, it came out great and definitely improved the look. I still don’t love the lights and will end up removing them but think the Tahoe definitely looks better with an all black front end.
Upgraded the front turn signal bulbs with LEDs from lasfit. It is incredible how much brighter they are. Photo shows LED on driver side and OEM halogen on the passenger side.
This looks great. I am considering doing the same on my ‘19 LT. Just curious how the plasti dip has held up and if you have had to touch it up at all since your original post. Thanks
