Finally got around to taking some good photos after the Cognito 3” lift with fox 2.0 coilovers. Lifted 3” in front and 2” in rear. 285/70r18.

Cognito 3" elite Vs Icon stage 2

I put the 3” Cognito on my ‘19 Tahoe and absolutely love it

@BigBoyZ71 thanks. They didn’t include any instructions and couldn’t find anything online. Found a YouTube video showing install on the bottom. Then I called ready lift to confirm and they said to install on top. Which left me confused with conflicting info so I called again the next day and...

@Oh Kee Pah So my truck had a little too much squat after the 3” Cognito/fox front lift and only a 1 inch spacer in the rear. I ended up ordering the dobinson’s rear springs to provide 2” of rear lift to level everything out. Unfortunately the fox rear struts that came in the Cognito kit are...

@Oh Kee Pah thanks for the reply. I am definitely looking for improved offroad performance hence my switch from leveling spacers to the 3”Cognito/fox coilovers lift. The tie rod sleeves look simple enough, I will knock that out on my own and take a better look at my away bar angles to see if...

This has me wanting to step up to 295/70r18s now that I have a new 3” lift on. Currently running 275/70r18s. They fit well when I had a leveling kit but feel small now with the new lift.

Do you have links to tie rod sleeves and sway bar links that would work for this build? I always have a hard time finding parts that work on lifted 15-20 tahoes

I considered the 6112s but it seemed like you could only get 1” of lift out of them and they don’t recommend running a spacer on top. That is ultimately what pushed me to the 3” Cognito lift.. only other choice would have been a Cognito 3” lift with kings instead of the Fox 2.0s. The kings 2.5...

Ride is great. Stiffened up some; eliminated nose dive when stopping, nose dive or lean when cornering etc. but still comfortable. Biggest improvement is the rebound after a big bump. On the stock suspension I would bounce up and down 3 or 4 times after a big bump before the suspension settled...

Here is a teaser. I will pull it out to get better photos later and post a new thread as I don’t think anyone has done a complete write up on this kit for the 15-20 trucks on here yet.

The kit included Fox 2.0 rear struts as well. They do not provide any rear lift but I already had a ready lift 1” spacer under the rear springs from my previous leveling kit. It is slightly higher in the front than the rear but isn’t to “dog dragging its butt”. I have a decent amount of weight...

Just had the Cognito 3” lift installed with Fox 2.0’s and man is it sweet. Ride quality is incredible. I regret not doing it sooner. I will upload some photos tomorrow when it is light out. I had a 2” level installed before (spacers with stock struts). Not sure if my factory coilovers were...

https://a.co/d/7xYx77V This is the link to the side steps. I had low expectations given the price but took a shot because I hated the plastic OE steps. I have had them on for 2 years now with no issues. Sturdy, no rust, no chips on coating and plenty strong for my use as this is obviously not a...

Also planning to change out my spacer leveling kit for the Cognito/Fox 3” lift/level kit. It uses new UCAs and Fox 2.0 coilovers and rear struts. Hope to have the suspension changes done in the next month or so

Yes, I have an ARB compressor mounted in the spare battery tray under the hood. Have an 8 gang aux beam switch near the headlight control on the dash to control light cubes, light bar, reverse lights and air. The brush guard is from Steelcraft. I will have to look back through emails to find who...

    2019 Tahoe Small Mirrors

I actually found some locally through FB marketplace for $200. My Tahoe is summit white, don’t think they made any Escalades in that color so just going with black mirrors. Will plan to pick them up tomorrow

Yeah my current mirrors are power fold, heated, puddle light, blindspot monitor.. I just hate how small they are. So hopefully an easy swap

Are the completely plug and play? I have a 19 Tahoe LT but hate how small the mirrors are. Escalade mirrors have same wiring harness etc?

    Steelcraft Brush Guard

Yeah. Lose the tie hooks for the frame mounts. And there is a second set of brackets that connect to the bumper and come up out of the grill. So 4 mounting points in total

    Steelcraft Brush Guard

Installed a Steelcraft brush guard today. Haven’t seen anyone else post about them so thought I would share . Overall was pretty easy, but it did take me around 5 hours. Would be much faster if you have a second person. My install was also slower because I had to remove a rough country bull bar...

Lock'er Down® LD3050 Long Gun Safe for & Yukon XL Suburban, Tahoe, Escalade, Yukon

Are these still available? I have been looking at these for a year or so and was finally ready to pull the trigger on the version to install behind the 3rd row and I can’t find them anywhere anymore.

How have you liked the boost auto mirrors? Any issues? I am considering installing on my ‘19 but haven’t seen many reviews.

    Removed factory running board

I ran it with no running boards for over a year but my wife hated climbing in and out with the level and bigger tires. When she was pregnant I ended up adding some aftermarket aluminum steps. I have had them on for quite a while and they hold up much better than the factory plastic steps that...
