Disclaimer: I have a 2500 and tires will feel different.
I used to run Goodyear A/T 2's which were fairly noisy but I stuck it out on my '09; they were great all terrains however and didn't cause the mileage to tank. Ran through two sets actually. ~55k and then at 110k.
Upgraded to Michelin...
It's spring actuated and all you need is to remove the spring for this function to work as intended. From what I've seen on youtube is there is no detent in the off position and needs to be creatively created.
Finally got around to adding an airtag in the 2500; working on some other measures to ensure it doesn't go anywhere but if it does at least this will let me find it.
Too bad OnStar didn't supply a 3G to LTE/5G module for the older cars, would have certainly upgraded.
It's up in the dome lights...
They are supposed to be built by GM Defense and should technically not have any consumer GM badging.
GM like all companies likes money, just like the 3500HD I bet dealers can order them as fleets such as ComEd here in IL has a few of the 3500HD burbs under their own SKU. I'd assume this will...
This has suburban badging, shop claims it's a 2025 but doesn't have the 2025 infotainment that I can see if you zoom in.
Curious as to how this show got a true 3500 or if this is a conversion.
My tin foil hat personality senses that this is to assist GM in ensuring you are actually paying attention when using super cruise.
As someone who works in cyber security, I'd have to assume on day 1 that camera is live and able to be remotely viewed.
This is approaching the twilight zone for me; this is not just a GM issue but seems to be incredibly prevalent in the auto industry. Instead of a car which the consumer drives, it's molding into a computer which the average consumer rides and spends money on.
Before over the air connectivity...
I guess I am an old fart too at 30.
The GMT900 is probably the last true truck SUV, as it was the last generation to be mostly problem free especially in the later years.
A battery powered SUV is simply a bad idea, Ford mentioned that the F150 lightning shouldn't have looked like an F150 as it...
The dashboard I ordered directly from a GM dealer; I didn't want anything to happen to it in shipping and would rather be able to reject it at the dealer if it came in damaged.
I paid $632.50 with tax for part 23224747; most of the online stores are around $450 but then it's $200-$350 to ship...
Bluetooth actually wouldn't be gained moving to the new HDD navigation units.
Bluetooth is controlled via the VCIM for Onstar, 2009 was the first year of bluetooth phone calls. There were updates to the VCIM from 2009-2014 but nothing major besides the OnStar functionality which is sadly now gone.
Original radio was a Bose non-nav; I don't have rear seat entertainment or anything else besides a backup cam.
Dynavin was plug and play, all of the harnesses were included. I did purchase the SXV300 SiriusXM tuner as the communication between the GM tuner and the Dynavin is decent at best and...
Got my N7-GM2007 Dynavin Pro radio installed including being able to use wireless apple car play.
Full write up on how I accomplished the wireless portion over here: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/wireless-apple-carplay-on-dynavin-n7-gm2007-pro-nav-unit.143257/
Finally got my refurbed unit from Dynavin installed, I was holding out for the v8 but that was not going to have an OEM look to it.
The radio has some quirks, and I am still waiting on a siriusXM tuner as the integration with the OEM tuner is less than ideal; but I thought I'd share how I was...
So, the v8 is not going to have an OEM look. This is confirmed through their link below. They were (sold out already) selling a limited number of N7-GM2007's refurbs from the factory which I snagged one then came over to tell the forum and they're already sold out...
