Exactly what those truck are meant to do : pull big heavy things while taking a beating. I bet your glad you dont have to bah on the 'hoes transmission anymore!
I have the same question, im looking at buying a 97 Z71 ext cab that has a bad transmission and was wondering if it would be better to drop in a new tranny or have the bad one rebuilt. And if i was to replace it with one from a donor vehicle does it have to be from a 4x4 or will and 4L60e work...
You could always paint the sides of the cowl black to match the wheels. It might look stupid i dont know but it might not. might have to photoshop that one around a little bit. or you could paint a chevy emblem and then tahoe in black on the sides of it
