Transmission valve body-no parts to be found
I put 2024 10L80 out of a Silverado in my 2012 Tahoe. After about 6 months I lost reverse one day and the trans would go into limp mode, stuck in 3rd. I was getting code P2732 and P0796. GM issued a service bulletin for these codes to replace the valve body. I ordered an upgraded valve body...- SFLSteve

6L80 to 10L90 swap? Seeking insight on a 10 speed transmission upgrade
The flex plate PSS recommended did not work with my setup because of the spacing with the converter. We used the below flex plate. We also installed a custom trans cooler which works great. Yes the LS motor I swapped in was a brand new L97 which matches up with a 2016 Escalade so I have a few different parts from a few different years trying to work together. My guy does use HP Tuners for the TCM tune. He started with the base tune but he said it needed a lot of adjustments. My...- SFLSteve

I love it. Totally changed the way it performs. It gets right out of the hole with the super short first gear. The truck is tuned for horsepower/performance so mpg is awful. I was getting about 9 mpg before trans swap and now it’s like 7. I think once we get the tune dialed in it will improve- SFLSteve

I had a local custom builder do the 10L80 swap on my 2012 Tahoe. The same guy swapped my 5.3 for a tuned and cammed 6.2L L97 motor about 2 years ago. The increased horsepower eventually took out my 6L90 with 135k miles on it. He used the PSS harness, I bought a 2024 10L80 with 4k miles on it out...- SFLSteve
