Wow!! Thank you for this. what a time saver. I have access to a lift. so I'll remove most of the bolts, then lower it down to get the rest. I'll have my floor jack support it in position until I get it free. inspect and swap over what needs to be swapped. I plan on popping the cover off...

    Wheel "hop"?

I can confirm, the Scorpion AS/3 tire by Pirelli is a superior tire. Goodyear or Michelins are either too soft or too hard. I chewed through a set of Michelins in 10k miles. My buddy almost wiped out with the Goodyears. And the Pirellis are quiet.

99% of the time its a highway cruiser. I go up to Maine regularly, my daughter goes to college up there. The ride is very smooth, and with larger wheels/tires than stock it always feels well planted. I have a nice sound system in it, and the miles just melt away, lol. I'm hoping to get a look at...

oh, I turned the wheels my friend... that's when I could see some of the teeth on the spider gears were chipped a bit. but it didn't get hung up. moved smoothly. now, I'm hearing a humming noise. pitch changes with speed. so, wheel bearing most likely, or the spider gear assembly is making...

Hey fellas. Day off today, so I ventured up to my in laws. He's got a lift, and I was able to use some power tools to remove the cover and take a peek. 1st, the fluid was black, the magnet inside the cover was coated in nastiness. Worse news, appears the spider gear housing has a nice crack...
