    My dealer said this last week regarding engine recall: "We don't know what VIN's, have which serial number motor in them. I thought that would be in a database somewhere." Might be a reason the dealership can't give you an answer.

    They are getting released nationwide now. My dealer has no idea when he will get more allocations for suburban. I really can't stand the way GM does this. Have it "placed" at 3 dealers. It should not be this hard for GM to sell a vehicle to a willing buyer.

    It is ridiculous. My dealer complained early in the year about having way too many 2025 6.2 trucks instead of 3.0. Seeing the recalls, and stop sales regarding 2021-2024 6.2's...They knew what was coming. Why wouldn't GM throw the 3.0 in as many vehicles as possible right now!?

    I would pick up the 5.3 or 3.0 diesel... as soon as possible. GM will be putting a Stop Sale on all Tahoe/Yukons with the 6.2 engine at dealerships Monday. Rumor has it, they don't have the parts to fix all the 6.2's. GM just wants them off the road as quickly as possible. :oops:

    I may switch my order as well, but keeping the 3.0. I drove a GMC XL yesterday, the big infotainment screen in the middle looks better in person than I thought it would.

    The one in Oklahoma appears to be an outlier...and makes me nervous to pull the trigger. Was it a test build of some sort? I was told Z71 Suburbans w/ 3.0 will be the last ones off the production line. Has anyone here taken delivery, or received a build date, for a Z71 Tahoe 3.0 yet? Once...

    GM's goal is to suppress sales of Tahoe/Suburban...in order to increase sales of Yukon/Yukon XL. I just can't figure out why!
