The Tow\Haul mode button hasn't worked in years. All of a sudden it started to go on by itself so you would have to tilt the steering column or shift from park to drive a few times to turn it off. I found that the wire has been severed from the shift stick so that might explain the button not...
@PR RAY, @05Single beat me to it as I was about to try and answer that question.
@95escahoe as for the tints they are 20% I did try and match the factory to give it a finished look.
@Tonyrodz nobody has bothered me yet *knock on wood* but if I went any darker I probably wouldn't be able to see...
I finally decided to have the windows tinted. I wanted to have it done when I was in high school back in 2009, but never did because I didn't know where to go. Finally found a shop and got it done. Check out the before and after photos.

My dad was behind me and noticed that my parking brake cable was sagging. I knew it was low but thought it was normal as I see plenty of GMT-800s with the same thing. Turned out that is because the one clips was missing (probably rusted away after 13 years of NJ weather and road salt) so I got a...
Bought a Dash Mat and installed it. Nothing major, just the truck sits in the sun all day as their is no shade in my office parking lot. Also it changes up the interior just a bit.
No real complaints except I have to keep checking the adhesive strips every now and then.
I hauled 9 wheels/tires around today to have them removed from their rims. Nothing to crazy. Came home with 1 tire and 9 rims. Beats commuting to work everyday.
So I had a friend help me re-adjust the intake and this time we got it to line up correctly. I also shaved the fan shroud a bit more to give it some extra clearance to avoid rubbing! So far so good!
I had the K&N Intake kit in for a couple years now and while I swapping my headlights I noticed that the intake tube was sitting higher than it should be turned out that it had shifted and wasn't even fully attached anymore. I had to pull it off and make some adjustments to the radiator fan...
I was getting condensation in the headlights and I couldn't seem to seal them any which way I tried so I removed them. That, and I couldn't find a good matching rear set that would fit a Tahoe with Cargo Doors.
Just going to have to keep the stock lights.
Some minor updates over the past couple months. I had to have both front hubs replaced since one of them had worn out and the dealer factory warrantied the other one at no cost! :)
I did try to check the hubs myself but couldn't get to them but did find that I was missing a sway-bar link for...
OEM Cargo Cover!
Found a OEM Cargo Shade in the garage while looking for something else. Been searching for awhile. This one came out of our 2000 Tahoe. Wrong color but it fits!
