Just an uneducated guess here but it could be to prevent moisture in the system and for a more reliable and stable operation.

You could have also just kept them in the deployed position from your vehicle settings but I don’t see any reason why it would be a problem either way.
You need to put the front wiper stalk switch directly on the dotted - - - - line on the stalk for the auto wiper rain function to work properly if this is what your asking. Speed of the wipers also seems to be dictated I think by your driving speed but I could be wrong.
I don’t have super cruise but I’ve been aware of this feature on super cruise for awhile now where as it will do a lane change if needed as long as the traffic allows it.
Our HC 6.2 drinks nothing but 93 octane premium fuel and has been very accurate on the mpg readout versus fuel used. We also enjoy a relative flat area and I can tell when high headwinds or slight change in elevations can effect the mpg on the instant readout or overall average during trips.
It should work now now with a trailer attached, this is only for use without hooking a trailer up. Have you tried hooking a trailer up and testing if you have the installed software in your truck?
I have Android 14 but I don’t have this in my settings…yet.
Update: It seems you must have the “Enhanced Trailering” option, just as “Texan42” stated previously, that gets you the see thru trailer option to also get the Turn Signal Activated View function without having a trailer hooked up...

Adaptive cruise works great on the open freeway but especially in stop and go traffic although the brakes can be very abrupt if a slower car moves in your lane on the freeway, it really startled my wife the first time it came on so aggressively.
