Brilliant! Get the 22” at order and buy a new set of take off 20”. It would be way cheaper than if you got 20” and decided you couldn’t live without the 22”.
Btw- I have 20” and I put the GM Perf/Brembo calipers on the front and had no clearance issue.
The increase in bass wasn’t spectacular. But it did fill in the lack from the oem Bose. It won’t thump like a pair of 12’s and a big amp, but it sounds better. I think it makes the greatest difference when watching DVDs. Polar Express (w/Tom Hanks) sounds like the train was chasing us.
I have the Bose. After the headache from fishing the wire through that big grommet, it was all straight forward on the install. When I say “straight forward,” I mean as a matter of sticking with the instructions. It requires more interior panels to be removed than I would’ve thought, but I think...
All I did was a 2” leveling kit on my ‘16 LTZ. Yet, it came with new front alignment specs. Contact the manufacturer of your lift kit. Chances are, they’ll have amended numbers to give your alignment tech.
Nitrogen matters in race car tires. They operate within such an extreme envelope that an adjustment of a half pound of air pressure is a significant change.
I’ve had rims on two different trucks scratched up by tire installers. I had them both note condition of the rims on the work order, prior to their guys starting. The small store denied the damage, resulting in small claims court. The dealer made it right without question. I don’t have to have...
Well done! The only thing that looks worse than fake wood is old fake wood. When I was a Chevy truck salesman, I never heard one person say they were choosing a truck specifically because they liked the fake wood. Yet, the auto manufacturers just can’t let go of it.
I heard so many arguments that I called the Goodyear Tire Co. The max pressure printed on the tire is the max for mounting a tire. It is never to be exceeded when seating the bead. The operating pressure in the door jamb is what you go by. You can exceed that number by a few pounds when carrying...
All done and thanks for the input! I went through the big grommet on the drivers firewall. What was giving me trouble was that there is a second wall to go through. The Kicker instructions make it sound like a small cut and you're done. If you push hard enough from the underhood side, the second...

I’m trying to install a GM/Kicker ssutayu15 subwoofer in my 2016 Tahoe LTZ. The instructions say to make a cut in the plug for the power wire. It implies that there is a pass through or port. All I see is a wiring harness. I’m hesitant to poke around tomuch, lest I poke something that...
