'02 Tahoe radio recommendations?
Congrats on the 02, by the way. Recently got my wife a 23, but a grandson has the 02. He’s an 05, so the Tahoe is 3 years older than he is. He loves it, as did we.- Pops946

Lots of good suggestions here. You sound like an experienced Tahoe guy, but remember on these there’s a factory amp behind the glovebox. New Ride for my Sweetie
Got it cleaned up and managed to take a pic to post today. My wife is 5’3”. The Tahoe makes her feel a lot taller. She loves it. Couple of short road trips so far. It likes gasoline for sure, but that’s ok, and it’s way more comfortable for us than the Enclave was. Think she’s gonna keep both...- Pops946

New Ride for my Sweetie

Dealer rip off or legitimate cost?
Don't have this fancy stuff on my 02 LT, but yeah, I'd guess the seat sensor would be relatively inexpensive, but he said it was the haptic motor, which is the motor that causes the seat to vibrate to alert the driver. $500 may be high, but this thing is for sure gonna be more than $25.- Pops946

2000 Yukon XL - Non Bose, no bass from factory radio or aftermarket radio
Here’s the article I used to bypass the factory amp in my 2002 Tahoe LT. as others have noted, the stock system filters all the bass from everything but the sub. I did this and put in 4 new door speakers. Sounds fune to me now. Whether you want to do more depends on your hearing and how...- Pops946

Sounds similar to what was on these for at least a couple of years. I replaced the 4 door speakers and the sub in my 02 Tahoe. Clean sound, but no bass except from the sub in the back.
