2015 android auto upgrade ?
Just a flash/ reprogram. What year is your vehicle? I think I read somewhere that the upgrade was only available for vehicles manufactured mid-2016 and later.- PJDYukonXL

Active Grade Braking issue
@NickTransmissions Took it back to the transmission shop and we determined it was not a mechanical issue or related to the rebuild. They took it to the local GMC dealer for diagnosis. Problem solved... here's from Dealer: SCAN ALL MODULES AND CHECK FLUIDS. FOUND TRANSMISSION UP AND DOWN...- PJDYukonXL

It would appear that it's "lifetime" at this shop and on parts only as long as I own the vehicle and continue the annual service every May (30 days grace period each year)... attaching a snippet of the warranty.- PJDYukonXL

I need to verify that... I have a 15-day follow up service appointment with the shop and I'll check. Question - if they didn't, is it too late at this point now that everything is reinstalled? Or can the thermostat be swapped separately?- PJDYukonXL

Follow Up: So, in the end I let the shop do the repair their way. I would encourage anyone in my situation to discuss all the concerns @NickTransmissions brought up before letting the shop take your transmission apart. I did feel a bit held hostage at that point and continued with letting...- PJDYukonXL

Yes... had it all apart this morning (pics attached). I believe FTC is their supplier. That website matches what they sent me as the specs of the new TC.- PJDYukonXL

I took my 2016 to the dealer and they were able to upgrade/ reprogram the system to do Android Auto. I think it cost me $100.- PJDYukonXL

Intermittent Electrical Issue
Update: Took it to another shop that specializes in electrical systems... they load tested the battery and determined there was a bad cell. Replaced battery and all is good now!- PJDYukonXL
