    Autoride Compressor

Ok, upon further inspection, I can see the compressor was replaced the same time as the shocks with the unit from Arnott. It does come on for a couple seconds upon start-up. The shocks and lines are definately holding air. I noticed what looks like a purge valve on both sides of the truck. Could...

    Autoride Compressor

It looks like the previous owner replaced the shocks with the ones from Arnott back in November last year, but didn't replace the compressor. I'm thinking they had leaking shocks, so they replaced them. Which left a compressor that was overworked for who knows how long, and has now gone out...

    Autoride Compressor

I'm pretty sure my compressor is out, it doesn't come on at start up anymore, or at anytime, and the "service ride control" is on my dash. The shocks or lines don't seem to be leaking. I've never heard any air coming out, and they seem to have plenty of air in them now. They were also leak...

Best oil for 100K + engines?

I have always run Mobil 1 synthetic in all my rides. For those of you who have an Escalade or Denali, pay close attention to the manufacturer guidelines in the owners manual. They recomend 5w30 in all cases. If 5W30 is not availible 10w30 can be used, but is not recomended. I'm not 100% sure...

    Programming Key Fob

I recently picked up a '03 Yukon Denali, the driver #1 remote is being recognized as a driver#3 remote. Can I fix this by reprogramming the fob, or do I have to take it to the dealer? I only have the 2 remotes for the truck and the other is being recognized correctly as driver #2.

    Help DOA!

Glad it all worked out for you. I think the broken heater hose coupler is some kind of right of passage for Tahoe/Yukon/Esky owners.:)

Long Tube v Short Tube Headers

This is right on. I've LT's on my 94 camaro also, and the key difference is in the upper end of the RPM range. You'll probably lose some low end torque with the LT's but you'll gain a broader and smoother power and torque curve and gain a few ponies and torque#s in the process.

    Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2's

I've got the Revo 2's on my 99' Tahoe, and they are awesome.:) Good ride, low noise, traction that doesn't quit, and decent wear. One of the best on-road, mild off-road tire out there.

    Driver's side door handle

Door module is not too bad to remove. Here's how to do it once the door panel is off: 1. Make sure window is completely rolled down. 2. Remove all the screws around the door module, including the large one in the lower right corner. 3. Remove wiring from around module and the door...

    turn signal help!!!

If you have the circut board style, try cleaning out the bulb sockets with eletrical contact cleaner, then grease the bulb contacts with electrical grease. If that doesn't work I'd say you need a new bulb circut board.
