Just wanted to update this, I cleaned the absolute heck out of my gasket and under it as well as in the groove. Applied some WD-40 silicone to a rag and wiped the entire gasket and then re-adjusted the heights of my sunroof. One rainstorm and 1 pressurized car wash later "knock on wood" no... -

That is unfortunate. I ordered the same part number for my 01 I’ll reply back if it fits or not since it seems like there’s no part number for 01 tahoes even though it’s removable from the glass -
