Fixed the brake light switch. This one does not have a spring, the contacts act like a spring, and it had become weak. Bent a little bit and checked that I had one N/O contact and two N/C contacts. Cleaned up with a dremel with a wire wheel (overkill, use sandpaper)

Any updates on the low RPM situation? I have quite similar symptoms as you, p0300, low PRM, stumbling, sometimes hear what I believe is a vacuum leak. Bought a new intake manifold gaskets, so we'll see.
Just found out my filler hose is not even attached, did your fix and going to test tomorrow as it's late here. Thanks for this documentation (Probably not the cause of my terrible p0300 tho, but I'll sleep in the hope tonight)
