yes= but the "service ride" would show up in the dash
choices:
-get a new one from arnottindustries.com
-put regular shocks but you need to put resistors on the wires so the service ride won't come up(forgot the ohms) and if you tow, need to replace the springs to heavy duty ( i guess you can...
ask any hose maker (had mine done by a local company that does hydraulic hoses) to make you a new hose so you can still use your variable assist. take the original hose and tell them what you want. i have converted mine to hydroboost using parts from 2500HD including the brake pedal.
mine didn't work for almost 6 months and nothing bad happened or observed. replaced compressor and rear shocks few weeks ago and everything is working. just waiting for the front shocks to install. i bypassed the front with resistors and put a regular shocks in the meantime. and yea, it will sag...
check your air shocks for leaks-one of the causes of compressor failure. don't worry, it will not ride high because it doesn't have air anyway.

check your compressor underneath the passenger side. your solenoid in the pump might be gone. if you apply power to the main harness (12 volt) and the motor runs, then the solenoid is dead. you can get a solenoid at your local junkyard from a lincoln continental .(usually made by tokico)
or just do what i did if you plan on putting back your electronic shocks in the future. just wire the resistors across the blue/grey wire ( if i'm not mistaken) then tape it or waterproof it. and put your brand of shocks.
