    Changed the oil yesterday. Ordered some more KnN filters thinking i was out. Anyone else noticed the change in design? The new filter is a bit shorter and it has more holes near the gasket. New and old filter were bought on amazon

    Service stabilitrak, traction control warning :(

    Same thing happened again this week. Theres also a code for the driver heater open or shorted. After doing some search the same code can cause the tcm to trip out? Anyways look what i found. Hope this resolves these trans issues. The wires are melted under the seat

    Here's what i do to isolate unnecessary wires Cut a small length of proper size heat shrink and have go past the wire just enough to pinch and create a seal

    Assuming that you don't need any of those wires for anything else, i would disconnect the battery and cut back all of it and shrink wrap the ends individually, so that they don't accidentally make contact with metal or other bare wires. Removing the knee covers of the dash may offer more room...
