I can hear a weird humming noise coming from the fire wall only when I'm in the truck. I have the fan and AC turned off. I can not hear it when I'm under the hood or under the truck. Only when I'm in the cab. It's kind of a high pitched humming/grinding noise. As soon as I hit the gas it goes...
Ok I decided to do this yesterday. My system was blowing at about 58-60 degrees. I filled mine per the chart on the can. It was over 100 in the garage so I filled to 55psi. Now the blower in the truck cycles high and low by it's self and it takes for ever to get to 65 degrees.
On a side note...
Well I be dammed. I have only owned Fords for the past 25 years and the max is on the vent selector side. i never gave it thought that the max on the temp side was just that.
It appears to be working fine now that I know where it is.
Thanks' ravingmadman for pointing out the obvious to me...
I have replaced the AC control switch assembly in the dash to try and get the recirculate button to work. The light stayed on on the old one and it still stays on in any position on the new one. It will not switch it from recirculate to the fresh air. There has to be a solenoid somewhere that is...
Every now and then (Becoming more frequent) when I'm coming to a slow stop I loose pressure and the pedal will start to pulsate. This is going about 30mph and at about 1/3 break pedal. It kinda feels like the ABS is kicking in.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Thanks
Mark
