Most miles with stock AFM system?
2007 Tahoe 5.3L bone stock 275,000 miles, no problems, added catch can at 220k, drive it like I stole it, regular maintenance with good oil and oem parts, loses about a quart between oil changes, I guess I got the unicorn- JuicedLS

261,000 on my 5.3l 07 Tahoe LT still running the original trans, regular oil change with good quality products and tranny flush every 30,000 miles, AC blows ice cold, 4wd works like a champ, fully stock with AFM operational. I must have a unicorn, I'm riding her till she pukes!- JuicedLS

Catch can or Not?
I have a 2007 5.3L with 245k on it. I also have the $25 Amazon can that others referred to. Summer time I get about 3oz of relatively cleanish oil in it that I drain when I do oil changes around 4-5k. Wintertime I get over 6oz of oil with water(chocolate milky) so I empty it once at 2-3k and...- JuicedLS

Rear diff fluid
Thanks for calling me out on my typo. I was crafting a couple responses for a couple posts at the same time and got all mixed up with what I meant to say. Obviously I don't have a GL-5 front diff or a GL5 RPO code. I meant to say that I used Lucas conventional 80W90 gear oil in the front...- JuicedLS

Rear diff fluid
I use Lucas Oil full synthetic gear lube for both my GL-5 front diff and G80 GT4 rear diff. I replace the fluids every 50k and haven't had any issues yet. 226k+ and still going strong. It works for me so I'll keep using it.- JuicedLS

47,000 miles - should I do all or none of these???
I replace all these fluids myself every 50k miles on my back in the driveway without any trouble at all and I am not a professional just a regular shade tree tinkerer. My Tahoe does not get severe use and I only tow a small camper once or twice a year and recently only put less than 15k miles on...- JuicedLS
