    you got a lot luckier then i did...we only saw .5mpg gain going to 89.

    She is about through her first tank of 89 octane...only picked up about .5 MPGs. If i stuck with running the 89 octane would you be able to help any with a tune?

    Thanks for the info...i will get her to start filling up with 89 for a few tanks and see what that does to the mileage.

    well if running a higher octane fuel will net me enough gain in MPG to come out cheeper then im all for it. also if there are any mods that are good for these for fuel mileage to help with the tune then let me know what needs to be done as far as that too please.

    Ahh never heard of them...but i have to admit i try to stay away from TX when i can (not that i have any control over where they send me) crew change from way over there back to Harvey, LA then to FL takes too damn long LOL

    Yes...lift boat, Jack up same thing. Here is a pic of one i used to run...been off of it for about a year now and dont have any pics of the one im on now on photobucket. i will try to get some pics of the new one up tomorrow.

    Thanks...its the GFs ride mostly but its nice to not put so many miles on my truck now when we go places together. i hate getting in and out of cars. traded in her 07 monte carlo SS on the tahoe. the MC was fun to drive but no so fun for me to crawl in and out of lol.

    Is there much you can do for an 07 tahoe as far as mileage is concerned? i know with diesels a lot can be done but not too sure how much improvement can be made on a gasser. i already own a V2 so all i would need is the tune done. Thanks!!!

    Hello Everyone! Just picked up a 07 Tahoe 4x4 a few weeks ago and stumbled across this forum. Im on another forum for my Duramax and have gained a ton on knowledge from it so i hope i can do the same here for the Tahoe! Little about me...im a Lift Boat captain in the GOM...work 2 weeks on 2...
