That's what I was confused about. Cold check is simple but with these reduced temps, I'm not going to get to operating temp anytime soon with cooler weather, if at all. 2015 Yukon Denali Service Trailer Brake System Dismiss message
Still having this issue? I replaced the module under my truck and it went away for a while. When it came back again about 8mos later, i replaced the brake controller on the dash and it hasn't come back on since.- Jh62118

Checking transmission temp after mod
From what I’ve read, the fluid level on the stick increases as the temp increases which is why they say to check it at “operating temperature”. My assumption was that somewhere between cold and hot would be sufficient but if you couldn’t tell, I’m no mechanic lol- Jh62118
