I should probably follow up. I went with Centric Fleet Performance semi-metallic pads and I believe I ordered them from R1 concepts. They worked great with no fade or any other issues while towing.

So before our first big camping trip I'm doing a bunch of maintenance on the Tahoe, and our weak parking brake was high on the list. When I pulled the rear rotors off I found one good brake shoe, and one completely bare. I'm not sure how that happened but after putting new shoes on the brake...
No it won't. You will need to be able to bolt in a cat and rear o2 sensors to pass. No way to trick it, the system is too smart. Then unbolt and bolt in a straight pipe.
Big week, but nothing fun. Oil change, air filter, flushed the brake fluid, new parking brake shoes and changed the rear diff fluid. Bring on the summer road trips!
