Gauge Panel Issue
The info center and gear indicator ARE stand alone pieces.. I just left mine alone for now until I could find a solution to get them to match the blue LEDs I put in. What are you trying to do with the steering wheel controls? -

Gauge Panel Issue
As far as the gauge light is concerned, I would do an led swap. You're going to have to take the whole cluster apart anyway. 03 and up the lights are soldered into the circuit board and CAN be fixed with a new bulb and soldering iron, but LEDs are much brighter and last longer. -
