    Threw a P1875 code today?

No other work done. What had happen was I had a parasitic draw on the electrical system. Had a clicking noise that sounded just like the turn signal was on. Reached my hand under steering shaft and found the clicking noise and vibration was coming from my 4WD control module. So I replaced it two...

    Threw a P1875 code today?

Towed my trailer to the race track, truck drove fine but about half way there my Service 4WD light came on. Never seen that idiot light before. Looked down and noticed the lights on the push button 4WD was not lighted up. Got to the track and scanned the computer, got two codes: P1875 code-...

Help me ID this part (parasitic draw occurring)

No that white connector doesn’t go into that module, but it does have a smaller white connector that goes into the back of it. 1998 Tahoe LT, 2D, 4x4.

Anyone installed the HT383E in their Tahoe?

I popped for the GM 350 stock replacement back in 2017. Engine builder gave it the hanger orange treatment. Paid $2,098 for the engine shipped to my door. About the same getting it installed.

    The 2 Doors are now Tweeners . . .

So funny story about how I aquired mine, yours is a gem, mine was simular when I found it. Here’s the story: I hunted Craigslist for years looking for a 96-99 2 door Tahoe. Then in 2006, I found my 1998 for sale for $5,000 with 60K miles. I stumbled across the ad minutes after it was posted. My...

Help me ID this part (parasitic draw occurring)

So I am in no way electrically inclined. So I’ve been experiencing a parasitic draw and what sounds like the clicking like my turn signal is on when it isn’t. So I stuck a light tester on the negative side of the battery and just started pulling fuses to see if it stopped (the light on the light...

Reflashing the trucks computer after Cat/ Emission Delete

No not true duals, two into one. I wanted to keep my exhaust as stock (looking) as possible. I’ll take some better pics this week so you have a better idea what I’m looking at. Appreciate it East302 with all the pics your providing, its nice to see what other folks sets up look like.

Reflashing the trucks computer after Cat/ Emission Delete

So the issue I’m having is the 4th o2 sensor is right below the drivers side door, and the lead/wire is maybe 10 inches. Minewhile, the left side of that pipe listed above drops down and cuts steeply toward the passenger side. So the pipe is literally 2 feet from the o2 sensor that is 14 inches...

Reflashing the trucks computer after Cat/ Emission Delete

What type of shop can do this kind of a “tune.” Seems like it wouldn’t be your average Joe Blow achanic shop, but maybe I’m wrong?

Reflashing the trucks computer after Cat/ Emission Delete

So I went ahead a removed both cats from my exhaust system and installed the Jegs Y pipe. I used the stacked spark plug arresters between the exhaust and the O2 sensors to fool the computer into thinking my cats were still there. However, my Tahoe is a California truck, so it has not 3 but 4 O2...

    Sqeekey suspension!

I had a simular thought . . . HOWEVER . . . I have been having a love hate relationship with AC Delco. Most of their new stuff is NOT the same quality as they once were. But that’s what happens when you outsource everything to Mexico. If Denso (Japan) makes the same part, I’ve been going with...

    Sqeekey suspension!

So the hoe just turned 24 and I have NEVER touched and/or replaced any rubber components on the body and suspension, so I feel its time to give it alittle love. Anyone know if there is a kit of sorts so I don’t have to hunt and peck for individual rubber parts pieces? Also, if anyone has done...
