I think they're losing their "purity" too. They now partner with sellers, for kickbacks; and Subaru is using their name in TV ads. They used to not allow their name to be used. They were "A Leading Consumer Magazine". joe- homesick

Yeah, 'Motor Week' seems aimed at people who don't know cars. 'Consumer Reports' is about as bad. It's treated cars like appliances since long before it started being true. I remember them criticizing Corvettes, and cars like them, for being tight and stiffly sprung. joe- homesick

Isn't the Ford a brand-new design? How old is the GM design? Just wondering. I've kinda gotten the impression, over the years, that the car magazines take turns between brands in their 'best of...' comparisons. It has seemed like the newest design usually wins, which kinda figures, I guess. joe- homesick
