    I had an epiphany and ended up jumping the high beam wire to trigger the new light, no switch needed at all, just trigger brights.

    I found a factory grommet that I could use, just next to the brake booster, but I can't for the life of me "find" it on the inside. I am shining light through the hole as well. Nothing. I suspect that there are layers on the inside between the back of that hole and hte void above the brake...

    Is 15.2/15.1 volts when it's not that cold weird?

    I know there's dynamic voltage charging with things like battery charge, cold, etc impacting how it responds, but 34 degrees F with a fully charged battery seems weird to stay at 15.1/15.2 volts for a 10 min drive. Is this going to fry something? Eventually it got down to a more reasonable...

    I can get to the backside easily by taking off the wheelwell liner, I would treat that too.

    Just noticed this today... I can wirewheel/sand, but repainting will never look right without a pro. This is the only spot I've seen thus far.

    what kind of adhesive is everybody using for this? Silicone seems crude, epoxy is too permanent... I need to also figure out how to hold pressure against it while whatever I use cures. Ideas?

    Looking back no, I guess I just assumed. Agreed that front would be a better application, but even then, I'd say LSD for there too especially with "auto" 4wd being a thing on these.

    I'd spray some white vinegar in there a few times, then penetrating oil and start whacking it with a 3lb hammer. ... or just cut it off.
