Thanks for the reply Sam! Your voltage drop suggestion was spot on. I connected a jumper cable directly to the starter body to the negative battery cable. It started right up. To verify and isolate the problem I did a voltage drop test on the negative battery cable to the block ground...
I am only getting 1.0 vdc on terminal "S" in the start position. Solenoid clicks but won't engage. I have replaced the battery, ignition switch, starter and ignition relay, and starter, ground connections cleaned. Same problem. Has anyone solved a problem like this?
