    Yeah I would check the level. Top it off if it's low, and then check the hoses for leaks. Hopefully it's not the pump but I haven't heard of those being a big issue in these trucks

    Generally I would think of it as more of a moaning sound when they get low. A squeezing sound could be a belt slipping. Did you check the fluid level?? Also, I assume you are talking about power steering fluid, not steering wheel fluid?
