Lemon Laws vary from state to state. As you can see below NY and FL both have a 24 month limit on new vehicles, but NY has an 18K mileage limit and FL have a more lenient 24K mileage limit.
Here is NY law
The New Car Lemon Law protects those who buy or lease new cars or motor homes that turn...
In addition to the trap door buckets outside, I've now added large glue traps on the inside (both sides) of each of our garage doors. It seems that as soon as you have the first cold snap, the little bastards look to come indoors and the small gap between the garage door and the door frame...
I have now tried every approach and can tell you that the trap door bucket deal is by far the best. I needed to reinforce them with glue because they are cheap chinese construction, but these deals are amazing. In 3 months the 3 bucket traps I deployed have caught and killed (drowned) 12 mice...
FYI Here is the one I purchased for my 2007 had good luck with. I never did cut the key that came with it, just programmed the FOB and attached it to my original OEM key.
Yes, it has the rear window defroster and it is working. Do you think it could possibly be related to 3rd seat lighting, seat belt interconnect or curtain airbags my truck does not have?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for that area of the truck? I can't see to find one.
I've got 2007 Z71 and have replaced 1 of the 2 original FOBs, easy to program and my replacement works from inside the house to remote start the car in the driveway 30'-40' away
That is the unfortunate thing of an OEM part if there are no aftermarket replacements. Maybe the OP can find an aftermarket replacement somewhere. I did look at FleaBay and they have the replacement tops for the standard fixed running board but not the Z71.
This looks like it might be the correct part for the passenger side (it looks like the top of my 2007 Z71 RB) (first link and pic) and is available for special order.
The drivers side (second link and pic) states it is no longer available, but you may be able to find stock somewhere (any chevy...
That is correct, the upper connector with the garage window behind it is what I was referring to. It is a 90 degree 2 wire connector which was just hanging after I removed the D pillar inner panel. The bottom connector (with the broomstick in the background) goes to the Bose speaker and the top...
Hey guys and gals, had an interior rattle in the right rear of my 2007 Z71 Tahoe. Narrowed it down to the right side upper interior panel.
I removed it to inspect the mounting and what I could do to stop the rattle.
When I opened it up there were three cables. Please see the pic below.
The...
After I wrote my post above, I found that they also got into the Garage A/C compressor / condenser unit as well and ate enough insulation off the wires, that when I turned the AC on recently, it shorted the power to ground and fried the main relay. F***Ing bastards. I was lucky and with a...
First the M/F's got into my generator case and ate the insulation and wiring. Solved that problem with sealing the case everywhere but air intake and exhaust, fine screens there. Lined the floor with glue traps. picked up all the insects and 2 mice.
This past winter, they decided the outside...
Over the last few weeks I been giving my 2007 Z71 Tahoe some love:
4 265/65 R18 Sumitomo Encounter AT Tires With Valves and TPS
Replaced old rusty factory steel spare wheel with a Z71 wheel and AT tire
2 new Z71 Wheels - existing were corroding around the valve stems
2 new upper Oxygen Sensors...
Unless it is the angle of the picture, what I'm seeing is way more than .040. Oh and by the way, don't believe the "pre-gapped" B/S. I did my Z06 Corvette last winter and purchased "Pre-Gapped AC/Delco plugs and the gaps were all over the place - supposed to be .040.
