    Buying Used

Our 2006 Yukon Denali has 194000 miles and though we've only needed to replace the torque converter, I can tell there will only be more expensive repairs on the horizon. Would like to get a 2020 or newer Escalade, or a 21 and newer Yukon Denali or an upgraded Tahoe. The 21 and newer Escalades...

How can you afford the cost of a new SUV?

Your question makes a lot of sense. Our `06 Yukon Denali has 193K miles on it. It`s been mostly trouble free but we are looking at some big repairs ahead, and looking at late model used GM SUV`s. This would be my 4th. We are fortunate financially but I still am incredulous at the pricing on...

    Loaded AT4 vs base Denali

With the money you will be spending I would not settle for anything less than what you want.

    So long everyone.

Hard to pass up that deal! I have a 2006 Denali with 190k on it. Looking at 2021's and newer and still blown away by the prices. Good luck with your new ride!

How many miles did you get out of your original Transmission?

I had to replace the torque converter at 181,000 miles. No other mechanical issues except for occasional low oil pressure.

    Major Service

My 2006 Yukon Denali is just shy of 188,000 miles. I was planning to buy something new, but with prices and availability the way they are these days, I've decided to keep it for a while. Would like to get opinions on what I should have done that may not be in the maintenance schedules. FYI, I'm...

Used Tahoe High Country or new Yukon SLT

For the kind of money you'll be spending I would get exactly what you want.

No oil pressure at start up, 2001 Tahoe

Thanks for this. I have an 06 Yukon Denali and the pressure rarely gets to 40. I understand this fix is more complicated with the 6.2 engine and AWD. Mine has 183,000 miles and still runs well, but I know I need to do this.

Yukon denali short wheel or xl ....

Take the XL. I've had a Tahoe, Suburban, and now a Yukon Denali. Believe me, you can always use the extra room. Go for a trip with your kids friends, and you'll appreciate the extra room behind the third row.

    I'm Out

Good luck with your new RIDE. I would love to get a new Denali, but will not pay surcharges and add ons. I`m lucky mine still runs well. I just can't believe some of the compromises I hear of people making when buying an $80,000 Vehicle. And some of these dealers act like they are doing you a...

No oil pressure at start up, 2001 Tahoe

Any idea what a shop would charge for this repair? I have a 2006 Denali with 6.0

    Front Suspension

Update: Shop didn’t find anything that needed attention up front. Did need new rear brake pads and turned the rotors. Did oil change and had them put in Bar’s Oil Seal as my pressure a little low.
