Climate Control problem
Just wanted to give an update. Over the weekend, it appeared my battery was going bad. I had it tested and it in fact was bad. I replaced the battery and since then, the HVAC system has been working fine. I believe this whole issue could have been a side effect of the battery not powering... -

Well I called around today for prices on parts. I am told there are 2 modules back near the motor that also tell the motor what to do and they could either need reprogrammed or 1 could be bad. Has anyone changed the motor before. Its on an 08 denali. Is it a direct bolt on replacement ? Are there settings for tension? Do i have to worry about which cycle, up or down, the motor is in or once i attach the rod from the motor to the gate it will be all good. Thanks- fire105

Ok here is the run down. The wife came home last week and said the lift gate stopped working. First off, the button above the rear view mirror is NOT pressed in the off position. serpintene belt noise
Well i checked everything out and the belt is tight against all the pullys. I guess the next step is to take the belt off the tenssion pully and manually rotate it to see if the squeek is there. So what im gathering if i can rotate the tensioner pulley when the engine is off then its the belt. If everything is tight then it could be a bad tensioner pully? If everything is tight could it still be a bad belt?- fire105

I will have to try the diffrent belt. I did narrow it down to the area but couldnt pin point if it was the belt or a pully which if it was a pully i dont know how you would be able to fine the pully that was squeaking....
