    Ya I found it after I got the tire down ... It's hiding behind the the tire hoist access tube and unless you remove the access tube, it's very difficult to see.

    Last time I was looking for that single bolt I couldn't find/see it through the wheel slots...

    I couldn't see the hoist bolt through the spare tire I saw this on the online version of the owners manual but had forgotten about it until now. Let me go try this although I don't have the wheel blocks but I'll rig something up... Thank you

    All done finally. That was definitely harder than I expected and I thought I had it close as far as installing new parts in the same orientation as previous ones but that was not so ... The drive to get alignment was def a stressful one but now all complete and I don't feel much of a difference...

    Bringing this post back from the dead, well really this reply.... I have terrible wind whistle and noticed the top of my driver door is out of alignment and wondered why and how to fix. After reading thought this thread just now I can probably say that the younger gentleman I bought my 02 Tahoe...

    Got them out and and back where they belong... And then...... Came across another situation. This time it was a seized caliper slide pin on one of the brake calipers. Dealt with that and am now needing a new set of slide pins. All n all a good day! I took pics but no need to post now but I will...

    Yes I'm certain now they both fell in between the spider gears as I pushed the passenger side axle and low and behold I heard the same falling metal clanky sound as with the driver side and I know i saw the c clip on that side of the axle. I guess in hindsight I should have turned the carrier...
