Infrequent RPM drop to 200 and stall

I have done the complete cleaning of the throttle body with a specialized cleaner 2 years ago and changed the gasket. I am looking forward to clean it again along with the MAF sensor.

Infrequent RPM drop to 200 and stall

Here are some screens from diagnostic application. Normal idle after morning start, outside temp 24C degrees. Could not recreate faulty behavior. STFT1 fluctuates mostly within 0.8%-3.9%

Infrequent RPM drop to 200 and stall

Yes, it is DBC version throttle body. I have cleaned it about a year ago, but will do that again. I am also looking forward to replacing the idle air sensor as well. Will try to check the trim data through Torque app via OBD. Sometimes vehicle does not start at first crank - when I repeat a loud...

Infrequent RPM drop to 200 and stall

Greetings. I would like to ask your opinion on the issue with my 2002 Tahoe. Sometimes there is severe drop in RPM after I start engine - idle drops to 300/200 rpm. When I try to shift to Drive it may drop to 200 or even 100 rpm and stall. It is possible to rev the engine and drive, during which...

LED Brake Light Bulbs Will Disable Cruise Control on GMT800

Switching to LEDs in brake lights would bring more safety as LED response is a bit faster than ordinary bulbs. Which in turn grants some time for driver to react. It can be seen how a vehicle ahead of me has a delay between the brake lights and the third brake light which is LED. Of course I...

Rattle in the steering wheel after gravel road

I have removed the plastic covers of the steering wheel and located the 2 bolts. They were pretty snug. But I have tightened them just a bit. In the process I have broken the hazard lights button. I removed the switch by prying on the side wall of the housing and pulling upwards, then I have...

Rattle in the steering wheel after gravel road

Hello, do you mean green plastic one? If yes - I have changed it in November, last year, but I will double check it for sure, thank you. I also looking forward to removing the plastic cover below the steering wheel and check if there any loose parts. Will re-lube the intermediate shaft as well...

Rattle in the steering wheel after gravel road

Hello everyone, A metal rattle developed in the steering wheel/column in the cabin part during driving gravel roads at construction site. There are lots of gravel roads with fine bumps that make whole truck shake. I was driving slow but still got that rattle developed. I have changed the plastic...

    Rattling metal sound while acceleration

I have attached a picture with indication of the stripped bolts' locations. We did not check the other locations due to the limited access. It may happen that those are stripped too

    Rattling metal sound while acceleration

There is another issue I have found while under the vehicle: two bottom bolts that fasten the gearbox housing to engine (the oil pan area) are spinning freely - the gear box guys must have over tightened and stripped them. What may be the outcome of this insecure connection and how i may repair...

    Rattling metal sound while acceleration

Update/Solved: Starter solenoid was causing the weak retraction of the gear, so it were touching the flywheel teeth. Solenoid replaced with a new one from Hyundai:Big Laugh: They seem to be the same construction - fits just right. Only difference was the plug connector on new one instead the...
