    I just use a tape measure hooked to the back of the brake rotor pulled out horizontaly. Then something long and straight like a yard stick held vertically up against the outside flat part of the fender well, center of the wheel. Sorry if this sounds like a drag on sentence.

    Tires are 295/30/26. I did have to reinstall my stock front springs :-( I loved it slammed. I also chopped up the inner fenders for rubbing clearance. So now all I have up front are Beltech 2" drop spindles which puts me at a 2/5.5. I like the Cali-sag, it grew on me.

    updated pics - new (to me) wheels A buddy of mine purchased these new used them for 2 years, then had them powder coated and put new tires on them. I picked up from him for a great deal.

    according to my dash i was getting 14mpg average. now i'm getting an average of 17mpg after a blackbear tune. totally changed the trucks drivability, highly recomended. more hp, more torque, more fuel economy, better overall feel. best $250 i've ever spent on my truck.

    Recently brought home a new baby! Clean title 1989 FXRT Sport Glide- 2002 twin cam, 95in, gear driven 211 cams, 45mm mikuni carb, fxdx fully adjustable suspension front and rear, 13 spoke mags, 12in risers w/ pro tapers. I couldn't be happier!

    gettin low I recently took some updated measurments. After a year since I lowered the avy it had settled about a half inch all the way around. Now 3.5/5.5, and rides beautifully!

    LoL It is super low. I cannot get out of the driveway without scraping the front air- dam. I think it is deffinitly closer to 3 1/2 in front and 6 out back. It's been about a year since I lowered it, so its settled a little. Maybe I should take another measurement.

    Turning radius with spindles

    I have the belltech spindles on my avy and I noticed a sugnificant difference in turning radius. I can definitely make sharper u-turns now.

    What a good lookin truck! I also like the blacked out b-pillers. Ofcourse, as you can see, I like my entire truck blancked out. Next for it will be rims or Cadillac EXT rear sails and third brake light. When you say you're getting rid of the CK 913's for a different look, do you mean the rims?
