Novice Looking for some advice on sub/amp combo.

No comparing them at all, like I said, "all things being equal" If for his vehicle, it was a factory option for the higher gear ratio, and there is a posted increase in capacity then it should be an easy upgrade. I do believe with the "Max Trailering Package" option it tows somewhere around 8k...- Dan Acosta

If all things being equal if your truck, if you have the lower ratio (3.23) and you increase the ratio to (3.46), you would increase the towing capacity to the higher amount as it would have if it had come from the factory. You could go to an even higher ratio, but at the point you are limited...- Dan Acosta

Full Float Rear End?
I dont think you will find a bolt in full floater axle. I have 2500 Yukon XL and it is a completely different chassis than the 1500 version. The 2500 has a leaf spring rear end, so you would have to fabricate brackets to make it work in a coil over application. I have the 6.0 version and those...- Dan Acosta

Need Help - with fuel sending unit
Well, I was able to drop the tank this weekend and the sending unit tested out perfectly 41 ohns to 250 Ohms and contacts were good. SO now what? I have heard a ground? ALso that perhapss I need to clear the PCM or gaueg cluster??- Dan Acosta

03 6.0 YXL 2500 - It is a long story, but I ll keep it short. After fueling my truck, the low fuel indicator light stayed on - while the gauge did not increase reading AND the info center now reads "--" and not indication of level "low" or tank level. What's That Whine?
I had a similar issue, it was being caused by the rear seat entertainment control. I adjusted the plug into it and it worked. Try "persuading" it by bumping the rear hinge area of the console if you have RSE.- Dan Acosta

Whishh noise when shifting?
I dont recall this noise from when I bought the truck, but there seems to be a whishhh noise when it shifts. I am trying to note exactly when it happens. It is most notable when i am cruising at lower speeds. If I am accelerating hard I dont notice - kind of happens when it is alternating...- Dan Acosta

Autoride shock lifespan?
I was wondering what the lifespan of the autoride shocks is. I know how to tell on the rear "air-ride - leveling" shocks, but on the fronts? Autoride or Bilstein 5100 shocks?
How did you know it was time to replace? I have an 03 6.0 2500 with autoride. Right now I am at 165k Miles, but it seems to ride ok. It is definitely rougher than my old autoride Tahoe, but I cannot determine if it is because of the suspension or old autoride.- Dan Acosta
