    Autoride bypass

Yes, but when Cadillac started using the MRC shocks, these are apparently different power wise. I know a lot of the "conversion" kits you see say they only work with the Autoride shocks, but not the MRC (Magnetic) shocks.

    Autoride bypass

I think the MRC shocks in an Escalade need a higher wattage than 25W. They put a higher current to those shocks than the normal autoride ones. Try 50W resistors...

Mounting ideas for 7 pin trailer harness

Yeah I am talking about the actual plug for where you would plug the trailer into. I have had a flat 4 blade on there but its just hanging around the hitch. I wanted something more permanent.

    A pic would be great.

Mounting ideas for 7 pin trailer harness

I need to mount a 7 pin trailer wiring harness on my '99 hoe with the factory trailer package. The stock hitch does not have any sort of mounting plate for the harness. Just wondering if anyone has come up with a good looking spot to mount the plate for the harness? Any ideas would be...

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Installed new drivers door weatherstripping, installed new headlights and turn signals, recharged A/C.

    Door Weatherstripping

Thanks. Are those clips really fragile? I just don't want to break anything.

    Door Weatherstripping

For those who have replaced your door weatherstripping, I have a question. Was it necessary to remove all the interior trim around the door in order to do it, or can it be done with the trim in place? And if you did have to remove the trim, is it just held in place with clips? I can't find...

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I didn't, had to hitch a ride into town to an autoparts store and buy the pump and jackstands, then hitch a ride back out to the truck. It was a great day.

Replaced fuel pump on side of the road 2 hours away from nearest town. Gave no sign of impending failure, just stopped working.

1999 Tahoe Rear A/C High Pressure Line Diameter

Agreed, this is why I wanted to see if I could just fix the line where it is leaking. I will see if they will budge at the back, if so I will order new lines. If things seem to just be twisting, I will order the block off kit

1999 Tahoe Rear A/C High Pressure Line Diameter

I've read that on pretty much every forum that I've searched. I've also looked at the connection back there, and it is pretty corroded due to salt/dirt/etc. I just wouldn't want to attempt it and then end up having to shell out for new components back there as well. Have you replaced the...

1999 Tahoe Rear A/C High Pressure Line Diameter

True, but what are the odds that I will be able to disconnect it from the evaporator? I've read that it is basically impossible without destroying it. I may just buy the block off kit if I can't repair that line.

1999 Tahoe Rear A/C High Pressure Line Diameter

Its #13, and it is leaking right before the second #5 braket going towards the back of the truck.

1999 Tahoe Rear A/C High Pressure Line Diameter

That looks like just the evaporator tube? I am talking about the 2 lines that run all the way to the back of the truck for the rear A/C. The small line is leaking under a clamp that holds it to the frame, right under where the rear door is.
