    Rigid Cargo Shade Topper?

Has anybody ever fashioned a rigid top for their cargo shade? I end up working out of the back of my Tahoe sometimes and end up using the cargo shade as a place to set lightweight items. I've considered trying to make a top I can lay over top of it (rested on the roller and the bar that hooks...

    PPV with Non-PPV Wheels

I had a thread on this a while back. I have a '15 PPV that my dealer reprogrammed for the factory 20" wheels. I bought an '18 in January and they were unable up do it for the '18. I bought a speedometer calibrator and it did the trick.

Just got my 2018 PPV 9C1 Tahoe Callaway

So not going to an LE agency as Motorweek claimed. That's a little lame. Neat truck all the same.

    LED Daytime running lights?

No, the entire line has them. It has nothing to do with the LTZ "not being available" (it's replaced with the premier).

    Anyone ordering an 2018 PPV

Nope. Not yet anyway. I imagine that like the IO5 radio, color DIC, LED DRL, and other previously non-PPV or even LTZ/Premier only features, it will filter down eventually. Dodge has had push start in the police Charger for a long time.

Would like to add jump seat to 2nd row captains chairs

I think it would be a tough sell as an aftermarket accessory for purely liability reasons.

Dealer Unable to Change Tire Size Programming on 2018 PPV

I ended up ordering a Hypertech speedometer calibrator. The VIN was not supported, but when I plugged it into my laptop it said it would send details to Hypertech and email me when that was fixed. It took about two hours and the software was updated. Works great. Speedometer is now correct.

Dealer Unable to Change Tire Size Programming on 2018 PPV

That does not necessarily surprise me and mine was not sold as a true "retail" purchase. Do you know if there was a date or MY when GM instituted this policy, or do I need to just be firmer in trying to get it done? With the 2015 it was about a four hour appointment after they failed to get it...

Dealer Unable to Change Tire Size Programming on 2018 PPV

I recently took delivery of a brand new 2018 PPV. I had a set of takeoff 20" wheels and LX20 tires installed by a wheel shop. I took the Tahoe to my dealer to have the computer reprogrammed for the new tire size. I did the same thing on my 2015 PPV and the dealer was able to do it without issue...

    RST Grill Part #?

That's actually surprisingly reasonable. They're going to sell a lot of them.

    Any non-buffeting Tahoes out there?

2018 PPV arrived yesterday. Has takeoff 20s and LX20 tires on it. No buffeting.

2015 Tahoe LS with 4" screen upgrade to 8" and IO 5 or better

You have IO3. For nav you need at least IO6. An up to date IO5 would include Android Auto and Apple Carplay, which would also let you navigate within that app. Your best bet will be contacting MVI or another vendor that sells conversions for IO3 equipped vehicles. Expect to be north of a grand...

    Onstar

I thought the trial ended up including remote start in the app for a couple years even if one did not renew.

    Missing features

I wish you could configure the storage pocket behind the radio screen to not open when the ignition is off. I'm aware of valet mode, but turning that on and off isn't very practical. I can't see the need to open it with the ignition off being very likely, but on the other hand, having it...

    Anyone ordering an 2018 PPV

My 2018 arrived today. Snowy out here so not the best weather for taking pictures. Here is what I've noticed: The IO5 radio is such a tremendous upgrade over the IO3. Android Auto is also a great addition. I am very impressed. The controls (volume, cruise control, etc) are much more responsive...
