Your problem is 100% sure the front Jouncestops that were missing.
If you want a fresh new ride feeling order a new set of rear coil springs as well. Over time coils do get weaker. Especially with that many miles.
coils have been sold locally.. In my case they were very soft due to 1500lbs in audio equiptment. Without that, you'd be fine.

You did 3” spindles in the front and 2” spacers in the rear right?
Personally I’d get Bilstein 4600’s or 5100’s. Keep in mind the spindles do not change the length of the shocks. So a factory length shock will work fine.
these go on the coil springs themselves. IF you are factory ride height, this would add 1" of height to your truck.
Your air ride system may be affected meaning it may think its pumped up higher than it actually is, causing maybe a softer ride etc. I am not sure how that would affect anything...
