How to easily change spark plug for cylinder #8 in 10 minutes, no hassle!

Redline S-1 is also good. Techron's secret ingredient is PEA, which currently Redline has the highest concentration as a few years ago Techron reduced their concentration according to their MSDS.

10L80 Transmission, best way to lower exhaust for PPE pan install?

Thank you for the reply and my apologies about this late of a reply from my end. Somehow I missed the notification about this. For dropping the Y-Pipe, did you have to do anything on the rear half like disconnect it from the hangars or was disconnecting from the front enough clearance? That's...

10L80 Transmission, best way to lower exhaust for PPE pan install?

I recently got the PPE extended capacity transmission pan for my 2018 Escalade ESV. It looked simple enough to install and I've done plenty of transmission oil and filter changes before, so figured I could slightly rotate and slide the pan in at just the correct angle to fit it over the exhaust...

How to easily change spark plug for cylinder #8 in 10 minutes, no hassle!

Yes. I am using that now as well. It's not DEXOS rated, but I haven't had any issues even 3 oil changes in now and if anything the engine is quieter than before.

How to easily change spark plug for cylinder #8 in 10 minutes, no hassle!

https://www.harborfreight.com/38-in-drive-dual-flex-ratchet-70191.html Pittsburgh is a Harbor Freight brand. Buy from there to get the best price. People dog on Harbor Freight tools and for awhile they deserved it, but they've really improved over the past few years and almost every hand tool...

How to easily change spark plug for cylinder #8 in 10 minutes, no hassle!

There's plenty of horror stories online about this particular spark plug and wire on the passenger side. While it is indeed cramped on the passenger side of the engine, I just wanted to put the info out there for anyone who has a plug and wires job coming up that you only need one adapter to...

Replacing Front Struts with all new OEM parts, what all is needed to have a completely new assembly?

Hey ya'll, I just got my struts back from a mechanic shop. I asked for them to give me back the old components, which I'm glad I did as it looks like they forgot the small black plastic washer that goes above the bump stop. Is this piece essential? There's only 1 black plastic washer in the...

Replacing Front Struts with all new OEM parts, what all is needed to have a completely new assembly?

Do you have your complete parts list or notice anything missing in my initial post? Also, did you buy a new electrical connector or just cut and crimp the old one back in?

Are these suspension components as bad as the repair shop says they are? (pictures included)

Definitely plan doing it myself on a weekend. Wrenching is therapeutic to me, saves me money, and gains me some knowledge I can pass on to the kids some day. There's an auto hobby shop on base that only charges a few bucks an hour to use their lift, so I'll likely take it there instead of...

Are these suspension components as bad as the repair shop says they are? (pictures included)

Ah, I've seen some pictures of cheap struts in the past that were leaking fluid bad (Dorman brand). I'll get ordering from Rock Auto and set side some time this weekend! Do you think it's a good idea to replace the rear shock air compressor while I am back there? I've heard those can help...

Are these suspension components as bad as the repair shop says they are? (pictures included)

Recently returned from the repair shop and they sent me a courtesy report from their inspection. The repair shop states that the front suspension components are severely in need of immediate replacement. I'm not sure if I'm seeing what they're seeing though. They stated the front strut and rear...

Replacing Front Struts with all new OEM parts, what all is needed to have a completely new assembly?

Ah, you are indeed correct. I have edited my post to reflect the proper terminology. Thank you for the data, looks like I'll be saving quite a bit of money not having to purchase the extra components. I'll leave the rest of the list as-is in-case anyone else in the future is looking for part...

Replacing Front Struts with all new OEM parts, what all is needed to have a completely new assembly?

I have decided to go with ACDelco / OEM for my front strut replacement, especially now that Arnott no longer offers a lifetime warranty and ACDelco does. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is piecing together all of the parts myself. I have compiled what I believe to be a thorough list of...
